Episode 1: Pots and Motor-Homes

Considered one of Scotland’s best kept secrets, the North Coast-500 driving route is a scenic, spectacular road through the High lands. First-time motor-homers Jon and Sue are driving the 516-mile route anti-
clockwise from Inverness, if they can master their vehicle. Highland warden Chaz is tackling his first season, and potter David is working on a new commission using a radical technique.
Episode 2: Cabers and Vodka
There’s caber tossing in Lochinver, while an innovative distillery explores vodka flavors.
This glorious road trip through scenic Scotland visits the Assynt Highland Games, in the village of Lochinver, which are being held for the first time in 3 years. The locals work against the clock to prepare for this centuries old event, while caber toss hopeful John faces stiff competition for the day’s biggest prize. Elsewhere, the Dunnet Bay Distillery, is expanding their vodka range.
Episode 3: Lobster and Opulence
Can a special foodtruck, selling treats including venison and lobster, entice visitors?
Young entrepreneurs Shona and Lewis have given up their jobs and turned their passion for food into a brand-new business. It’s their first season running a foodtruck, serving the finest Highland produce from lobster to venison. Can they make it a success and return next year? Elsewhere, the former holiday home of the Queen Mother is preparing to open its doors to visitors for the summer.
Episode 4: Cheese and Cycles
Can the riders conquer the mountains during one the most grueling cycle races in the UK?
In the southwest corner of the NC 500 route, on the Applecross Peninsula, is one of Britain’s toughest cycling events. During the Bealach Mor, riders pit themselves against the mountainous terrain on a 90- mile route that takes in the iconic Bealach Na Baa, the steepest climb of any bike race in the UK. Nearby, an innovative cheesemaker is giving a traditional Highland treat a modern makeover.
