Episode 1: Paris
Tom follows in the steps of 17th, 18th and 19th-century aristocrats on their Grand Tours of Europe. Starting in Paris, he enters to the world of aristocratic etiquette by a Parisian Countess, and visits Notre Dame and the Gardens of Versailles.
Episode 2: Lake Como and Venice
Tom enjoys Lake Como’s serenity, rides a vintage water taxi to a breathtaking villa, learns about royal scandals, and takes a hot air balloon trip to Venice.
Episode 3: Florence and Rome
Tom tours Florence, viewing Michelangelo’s David and Botticelli’s ‘The Birth of Venus’, before visiting Rome, where he commissions a portrait and joins street musicians to serenade passing lovers.
