Episode 1: Suffolk
Acclaimed actor Alison Steadman joins Sandi to explore the beautiful Suffolk countryside.
Beloved British comedy icon Sandi Toksvig is joined by legendary actor Alison Steadman to explore the glorious sanctuaries of Suffolk. Their weekend vacation sees them staying in a stunning Martello Tower, an 11th-century priory gatehouse, and a thatched cottage with its own moat. Enjoying the breathtaking countryside, Alison reflects on her acclaimed acting career and love of the theatre.
Episode 2: Kent
Actor and writer Jessica Hynes joins Sandi for a holiday in Kent and a stay in a windmill.
Sandi’s joined by BAFTA-winning actor and writer Jessica Hynes for the ultimate staycation in Jessica’s beautiful home county of Kent. There are plenty of laughs as the pair discuss life and comedy, while staying in a luxurious windmill hideaway, a glorious, restored farmhouse in a secluded nature reserve and a 1930s design classic by the ocean at delightful Camber Sands.
Episode 3: Scotland
Comedian Sindhu Vee joins Sandi for a Scottish escape, with a stay on a deserted island.
Sandi’s joined by comedian, broadcaster and friend Sindhu Vee for some extraordinary Scottish escapes. As Sandi and Sindhu discuss comedy, family and friendship, they spend the night in a lighthouse keeper’s cottage on its own deserted
island near Skye, a luxury cylindrical granite, steel and glass shooting lodge in the Highlands and a unique, tiny elliptical-shaped house.
Episode 4: Cotswolds
Sandi joins culinary legend Prue Leith to visit unique holiday homes in the Cotswolds.
Sandi and her close friend, foodie and judge on the Great British Baking Show Prue Leith, unlock the Cotswolds’ ultimate hidden hideaways. Food chat is obviously on the menu, as the pair visit some unique locations including a stay in a luxury treehouse, a night in a striking minimalist home made from glass and Cotswold stone and a very surprising gamekeeper’s cottage.
